Sample: Jumper
Another thing I spotted after testing out my tennis dress is the side where the sleeve wasn't one piece would ride up the arm and became uncomfortable when playing. I knew this meant that both sides now needed to remove the shoulder seam to make it comfortable and allow full rotation of the shoulder. This meant creating a seam down the centre back to make them attach together without changing the style at the front. I thought it be best to make a mini sample of the effect I was going for the see silhouette and if it was possible.
I probably should have tested it more in my real fabric due to that being slightly thicker than the jersey. However, the silhouette was perfect and this will be used in my final piece for the tennis dress. I'm happy with the movement of the piece now, and still have the element of asymmetry
